Cyber Monday, the online version of Black Friday, means great online deals for consumers – but cyber crooks may be taking advantage, too. As one of the biggest online shopping days of the year, Cyber Monday is a huge opportunity for hackers to tap into increased consumer traffic.

Could you become a victim of a cyber attack? Definitely. According to a report published earlier this year, some 14 percent of home computer networks in the United States are infected with malware – an umbrella term that includes a range of Internet-borne computer infections including viruses, worms, spyware and Trojan horses.
